AE 1000 Introduction to College Writing - 3 credit hours
AE 1000, Introduction to College Writing, is a three-hour, elective-credit course designed for University of Central Missouri students who want to improve their writing skills before enrolling in ENGL 1020, Composition I. Emphasis is placed on paragraph and essay development with special attention given to sentence combining along with individualized instruction in grammar and mechanics. Students attend class sessions and individual tutorials and learn word processing.
