Dinner for 12 Mules
The UCM Alumni Association is excited to continue its Dinner for 12 Mules program, bringing together Central Missouri
alumni and friends with students, faculty and
alumni staff members. Alumni and friends host a dinner
in their home, a restaurant or the Elliott Union, providing an evening of good food, conversation, career advice
and camaraderie for their guests. By the end of the
evening, 12 strangers become 12 friends.
The program is simple: Alumni and friends volunteer to host a dinner. The UCM Alumni Association recruits students from the academic programs related to the expertise of the host. For each dinner, a guest list is formed of 12 or fewer people who share common career goals..
With 80,000 alumni throughout the world and about 12,000 students and 1,400 faculty and staff members on campus, our Dinner for 12 Mules is a hit! The UCM Alumni Association piloted the program in February 2012 with outstanding success.
We are still scheduling dates for our spring 2013 dinners. Please check back for specifics.
