Art Materials and Supplies: Tools of the Trade
Building your collection of art tools and materials is an investment in your future. In most art and design courses at UCM, students are required to furnish their own materials and supplies- items that are intended to be used professionally in the future. Listed below are a list of basic supplies needed for introductory drawing and design courses. The Department provides certain studio equipment and some highly specialized materials that are not easily accessible to students. Some courses have a small fee associated with them that goes toward purchasing materials that will be distributed by the instructor, such as clay in ceramics or wood and metal in sculpture.
