Citation Show and Achievement Awards
Another source of scholarships is through the UCM Student Citation Show sponsored each Spring by the Department of Art & Design and hosted by the Gallery. An outside juror is brought in to judge the show and prizes are awarded to the top works in the show.
In addition, the Scholarship Awards Committee for the Department of Art & Design gives Achievement Awards based on work displayed in the show. The Mid-Missouri Artist Association, a regional artist organization, typically awards at least one scholarship based on work in the Citation Show.
The 2013 Citation Show opens on Wednesday, March 27. Award winners will be announced at the Citation Awards Reception on Wednesday, April 3, at 3:30 in the Gallery of Art & Design. Scholarship winners will also be announced at that time. Submission deadline for entering the Citation Show is Monday, March 25, at 5:00 p.m.
