Jennies are coming off a second place finish, Dec. 7th, at the Jeanette Lee Invitational in Midlothian, Virginia. The Jennies posted an 8-3 record in the event, which was won by top-ranked Vanderbilt.
Alyssa Surges made the All-Tournament Team, while Natalie Cortese finished 6th and Jamie Mitchell finished 8th, in what was the final event of the 2008 portion of the schedule for the Jennies. The first event in 2009 will take place January 16-18th at the Arkansas State Mid-Winter Classic in Cabot, Arkansas.
Caldwell and Holmes honored by the NTCA

Bryanna Caldwell and Ron Holmes were honored by the NTCA, with Caldwell selected as the 2007-2008 D-II "Player of the Year" and Holmes tabbed as the D-II "Coach of the Year". Caldwell is also a first-team All-American on the squad chosen by the members of the National Ten Pin Coaches Association...More Info »

The Jennies tied for fifth place at the NCAA Championships in Omaha, Nebraska. The Jennies defeated top-seed Nebraska (4-1) in their opening match, but then fell (4.5-2.5) to New Jersey City University in their second match, and were eliminated by defending national champion Vanderbilt (4-2).
