The Mules 13th consecutive trip to the NCAA-II post-season ended early on Friday as they were knocked out of competition in the first elimination round game of the NCAA-II Central Regional in Emporia, Kansas.  Missouri Western pounded six homeruns and 17 hits in handing the Mules a 16-8 loss, the most runs in a game CMSU allowed this season.  Gered Mochizuki and Bridger Hunt had three hits each to lead the Mules offensive effort that included a total of 14 hits, but CMSU stranded 12 runners on base.  The loss officially ended the Mules run for a seventh straight regional title and trip to the NCAA-II Championships, and put the finishing touch on a record of 44-16.  /  Complete NCAA-II Regional Info
