Mules finish in a tie for fourth place at the NCAA-II Central Regional in St. Joseph, Missouri.  In the final day of competition on Wednesday, CMSU shot a 306 to finish with a three-day mark of 910 and tie Missouri Western for fourth place.  Washburn (Kan.) University captured the regional title and advances to the NCAA-II Championship Meet later in the month in Savannah, Georgia.  Individually for CMSU, Adam Frank finished strong with a one-over-par 72 in the final round to climb into a tie for second place with a 54-hole total of 220.  Jon Sauer tied for seventh place with a score of 224.  on Tuesday, led by Jon Sauer's even-par-71.  Kyle Hattock tied for 13th (229), Jaron Rose (239) tied for 34th, and Mike Robben was tied for 38th (243).

Final Results


Mules climbed into second place with a strong early showing on Tuesday, April 19th, and hold on to that finish as the MIAA Championship Meet ends in Blue Springs, Missouri.  The Mules started the final day of competition in third place, but shot a 149 over the front nine to surpass Missouri Western into second place.  They held on for the rest of the day, but could never catch Washburn (Kan.) University as they won the event by 12 strokes to complete a perfect run through the league.  Individually, Jon Sauer finishes in third place with a score of 222.  Adam Frank tied for fourth place with a mark of 224.  Jaron Rose tied for 13th with a 229, Danny Markham and Mike Robben had scores of 232 to finish in a tie for 15th, while Kyle Hattock settles for 17th place with a 233...More Info
