Mules third at NCAA Regional

The Central Missouri State University Mules golf team finished third at the NCAA Division II Men's Golf Central/Great Lakes Super Regional.

The Mules carded an 881 (296-293-292) at the tournament, held May 1-3 at the Prairie Bluff Golf Club in Lockport, Illinois. Winona State University won the Regional with an 865. Washburn University was second with an 872.

For Central Missouri, Jon Sauer finished second overall, firing a 215 (71-73-71). Ty Needels tied for ninth with a 220 (75-69-76), Adam Frank and Danny Markham finished in tie for 17^th with a 225 (79-76-70), Scott Lamothe finished in a tie for 25^th with a 228 (76-77-75).
