Mules’ Hicks named to another All-Region Team

Michael Hicks added another honor to his resume recently, as he was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches South Central Region All-District team.

Hicks played a key role in the Central Missouri State University Mulesrun to the MIAA regular season and postseason tournament titles. He was the Mulesleading scorer and one of their top all-around players in 2004-05

A unanimous first-team All-MIAA pick and the MIAA Postseason Tournament Most Valuable Player, Hicks is poured in 16.9 points per game while hitting 45.7 percent of his shots (75-of-186, 40.3 percent from three-point range) and 87.2 percent from the free throw line (second-best in NCAA-II). He also pulled down 4.5 rebounds per game and dished out 63 assists while pulling 30 steals.
