Mules Sign Second Recruit for Next Season

Warrensburg, Mo. (May 20, 1999) – Central Missouri State men’s basketball coach Don Doucette has announced the signing of the Mules’ second recruit for the '99-2000 season. Joining the Mules will be Sean Price, a 6' 4" guard-forward from Pasco-Hernando Community College in New Port Richey, Fla.

An honorable mention All-America selection this past season, Price averaged 18.7 points per game, while shooting 48.7% from three-point range and 75% from the free throw line. He was a first-team all-state and all-conference selection and led Pasco-Hernando to a 25-6 record, which included a conference championship and number 15 national ranking. As a freshman, he helped lead the school to a 30-7 record and a ninth-place finish in the national junior college tournament.

Previously, the Mules had inked James Collins, a 6-2 guard from Warrensburg, during the early signing period in November.
