Jennies place 12 on MIAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll

The Central Missouri State Jennies softball team is represented by 12 players on the 2006 MIAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.

The following Jennies were named to the conference honor roll: seniors Megan Bax majoring in physical education, Kym Caskey physical education, Kristy Furrer elementary education and Miranda Myer accounting, juniors Megan Hollenbach business administration, Meredith Muenks nursing, Jenny Sherman graphic arts, Heather Whitcomb elementary education, and Lauren Young public relations, and sophomores Kherri-Dean Hummer computer aided drafting and design, Melissa Palmer physical education and Whitney Sandberg physical education.

To be selected student-athletes had to meet the following criteria: 1. must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.00 or better at the qualifying institution; 2. must have at least two semesters of attendance at the member school, excluding summer sessions; 3. must be a sophomore, junior, or senior in athletic eligibility; 4. cannot be a redshirt or under hardship qualifications.
