Jennies Announce Additional Recruits for 2000 Season

Warrensburg, Mo. (Apr. 27, 1999) – Central Missouri State University softball coach Rhesa Sumrell has announced the signing of six more high school seniors to letters-of-intent for the 2000 season. Joining the Jennies for next season are:

• Beth Blackburn, SS/3B, Ballwin, Mo. (Parkway South H.S.)
• Jamie Golden, P, Independence, Mo. (Fort Osage H.S.)
• Kristen Sola, C, Independence, Mo. (Truman H.S.)
• Desiree Price, OF, Olathe, Kan. (Olathe South H.S.)
• Beth McGill, C, Republic, Mo. (Republic H.S.)
• Lauren Sigwing, OF/IF, Grapevine, Texas (Gravepine H.S.)

They join the two high school seniors the Jennies signed during the NCAA’s early signing period in November: Sissy Fletcher, a second baseman from DeSoto, Kan., and Thea Summers, a pitcher/first baseman/outfielder from Sweet Springs, Mo.
