16 Mules and Jennies qualify for NCAA Outdoor Track & Field
Championships
(WARRENSBURG,
On the women's side, indoor national champion Jennifer Drum
has the highest rank, as she enters the meet ranked third in the high jump. Kristin Anderson, an All‑American
in 2003, enters at fourth in the steeplechase, while Denise Sandbothe is
the Jennies' lone dual event qualifier, as she is entered in the pole vault and
100‑meter hurdles.
Ivan Varbanov has qualified in both the
high jump and triple jump for the Mules.
The CMSU men also have two relay teams entered, as both the 4x100‑
and 4x400‑meter relay teams have qualified.
