Mules and Jennies have 21 first place finishes
at annual Mule Relays
The Mules and Jennies track and field squads competed at the annual Mule Relays this past Friday at Walton Stadium in Warrensburg.
The Jennies came away from the meet with 10 first place finishes led by
Chelsea Luck, who won the 200 meter dash and 100 meter hurdles. Also finishing first for the Jennies were
Elise Johnson in the 100 meters, Sandy Davidson
in the 1500 meter run, Gina Kennison in the 3000 meter run,
Cody Varner in the 400 meter hurdles, Amy Kennison
in the pole vault, Brittanie Roldan in the triple jump, the 4x100 meter relay squad and the 4x400 meter relay team.
On the men’s side, the Mules had 11 event winners led by
Bruce Williams in the 100 meter and 200 meter dashes.
Kyle Brown won the 400 meter dash, David Fuchs
won the 1500 meter run, Matt Prescott finished first in the 110 meter hurdles,
Adam Akers won the 3000 meter steeplechase, Eric Moore
took home the championship in the long jump, Jaban Moore
won the shot put, A.J. Roth won the javelin throw, the 4x100 meter and 4x400 meter relay teams won their events as well.
