Jennies’ Jacque Barr named second-team All-American

(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) – Central Missouri State senior libero Jacque Barr earned some national recognition recently for her efforts during the 2002 season, as she was named to the Daktronics Division II All-America Volleyball Team. The Daktronics All-America teams are voted on by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Barr, a native of Lee’s Summit, Mo., led the Jennies with a school-record 648 digs. She also had 30 assists in being named to the All-Region team for the third consecutive year. Barr was also named first-team All-Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association for the third time.

The Jennies finished the 2002 campaign with a record of 26-9 overall, 13-3 and tied for second in the MIAA.
