Jennies volleyball signs Kansas City area standout

(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) - William Chrisman High School standout Audrey Jensen has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball for Central Missouri State University next fall.

“Audrey is a great athlete and an excellent student,” head coach Peggy Martin says. “She will help us immediately with her ball handling and overall court awareness. One of the best overall high school players we’ve ever signed.”

A native of Independence, Mo., Jensen will major in commercial art at Central Missouri State next fall.

The Jennies are 24-9, 11-5 in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association. They tied for second in the conference, are ranked No. 21 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association NCAA Division II poll, and are in the semifinals of the MIAA Postseason Volleyball Tournament.
