Volleyball Jennies add Hermann (Mo.) High School all-stater

(WARRENSBURG, Mo.) - Head coach Peggy Martin has announced the signing of Andrea Robertson, an all-state pick as a junior last year, to a letter of intent to play volleyball for the Central Missouri State University Jennies.

Robertson, a senior at Hermann (Mo.) High School, is a middle hitter in coach Linda Birk’s program.

“Andrea is a terrific all-around athlete who could also play outside hitter or rightside for us, though she will eventually be a middle hitter for the Jennies,” Martin says. “We’re very excited about her joining our team from a very good high school program and a very good high school coach.

The Jennies are 24-9, 11-5 in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association. They tied for second in the conference, are ranked No. 21 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association NCAA Division II poll, and are in the semifinals of the MIAA Postseason Volleyball Tournament.
