Volleyball Jennies add Tulsa standout

Brooke Butler, a 5-foot, 9-inch outside hitter from Tulsa, Okla. has signed to compete in volleyball with the Central Missouri State University Jennies beginning next fall.

“Brooke is a great addition to our team,” Jennies head coach Peggy Martin said. “She potentially has (former Jennie) Lindsay Robertson-type ball-control, which will enable us to continue to be one of the best ball-control teams in our league.  

“Brooke also has a good vertical with a quick arm swing. I expect her to challenge for playing time immediately.”

Butler, who graduated from Bishop Kelly High School (the same high school that produced Jennies' alumnae Natalie Loerch) will also receive an academic scholarship at CMSU.
