Jennies get three on Daktronics All-South Central Region Volleyball Team
Eleven players from five teams competing in the NCAA Division II South Central Regional have been honored on the 2005 Daktronics Division II All-South Central Region Volleyball Team. Of those 11, the Jennies had three players named.
At middle hitter, Central Missouri State senior Becky Haug was a first-team selection. Haug, a native of Lee’s Summit, Mo., led the MIAA in blocks (158, 1.22 per game) and ranked second in the league in points (608, 4.71 pg) and third in hitting percentage (.338). She also had 492 kills (3.81 pg) and was a first-team selection on the All-MIAA team.
Second-team honors went to senior setter Kaci Young and sophomore middle hitter Andrea Robertson.
Young, a native of Littleton, Colo., registered 1682 assists, the fourth-best total in school history. She added 120 kills, 377 digs, and 78 total blocks (10 solo, 68 assists).
Robertson, a Hermann, Mo. native, added 425 kills (3.40 per game) while hitting .271 and putting down 148 blocks (36 solo, 112 assists).
