Haug named Academic All-District

     For her accomplishments on the court and in the classroom, Central Missouri State Jennies volleyball senior middle hitter Becky Haug (Lee’s Summit, Mo.) was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District second-team on Wednesday.

     Off the court, Haug maintains a 3.86 GPA as an interior design major. On the court, she leads the 13th ranked Jennies in kills per game (3.82), hitting percentage (.343), total blocks per game (1.22), and points (545). She is also second in the MIAA with 4.65 points per game. Haug has also been named Wilson/MIAA Player of the Week and AVCA Division II National Player of the Week during the 2005 season. She has helped lead the Jennies to their 232nd consecutive week in the AVCA national poll, a streak that has been alive since 1986. She has also led the Jennies to the NCAA tournament in her first three seasons at CMSU and barring any poll changes, she will make it all four years.
