The Central Missouri State Jennies volleyball squad, led by senior Becky Haug (Lee’s Summit, Mo.), hit away for a 3-0 (30-21, 30-22, 30-15) victory over Northwest Missouri on Saturday afternoon. The Jens continued tradition as they have only lost to the Bearcats once since 1984.

The Jennies hit .317 as a team while holding the Bearcats to only .111 in the outing. Haug had a stellar day at the net, smacking 13 kills, and six block assists with a .545 hitting percentage. Andrea Robertson (Hermann, Mo.) also had 13 kills on the day and 16 points overall. The Jens got their first MIAA win of the season and moved to 8-6 overall and 1-2 in conference action.

Other notable performances include Brooke Butler (Tulsa, Okla.) with 11 kills, Audrey Jensen (Independence, Mo.), with 22 digs and six kills, and Kaci Young (Littleton, Colo.), with 46 assists on the day. CMSU also led the Bearcats in every statistical scoring category.
