Jennies close out CMSU Challenge

The Central Missouri State Jennies played the final game of the CMSU Challenge on Saturday morning and took care of the Cardinals of William Jewell 3-0 (30-15, 30-22, 30-18).

The match was never in doubt as the Jens (3-1) defense held WJC to only a .067 hitting percentage. Combine that with a stellar offensive performance and you have a rout. CMSU had 47 kills and 63 digs. Katie Tarka led the defense with 23 digs while Brooke Butler and Jillian Ohrman led the offensive effort with 15 and 10 kills, respectively. They both hit over .400 in the match. In fact, CMSU never trailed in any game. Caitlin Pankratz tallied a match high 40 assists as well.
