Jennies take weekend series in Warrensburg

                On the weekend, CMSU had a Friday night non-conference match against Missouri-St. Louis. The Jens rolled in the first two games before falling by narrow margins in games three and four.
            They had as much as an eight point lead in the final game before the Riverwomen made it close at the end, falling by two (30-20, 30-24, 29-31, 28-30, 15-13).
            Jillian Ohrman was the big hitter for the Jens with 21 kills while Andrea Robertson chipped in with 18 on the night. Katie Tarka rolled up 36 digs while Caitlin Pankratz and Ashlei Jandrey each earned a double-double (assists and digs).
             The next day, Central Missouri hosted the Bearcats of Northwest Missouri in MIAA action. They took a 3-1 victory (30-26, 28-30, 30-17, 30-25) to the bank and went to 3-0 in league action. Robertson hit .452 in the match with 16 kills while Ohrman put up 18 kills. Lauren Nuckolls added 17 kills for Central Missouri. Pankratz logged another double-double while Tarka added more than 30 digs for the second match in as many days (33).
