Katie Tarka was one of the nominees for the 2006-2007 Ken B. Jones Award as the MIAA Student-Athlete of the Year...More Info  Tarka, who just completed her career with the Jennies, was one of the recipients of the UCM "Female Student-Athlete of the Year" award.


The Jennies 2006 season ended Saturday, Nov. 11th, with a 3-0 loss to North Alabama in the championship match of the South-Central Regional in Kirksville, Missouri.  The Jennies had the lead in all three games of the match, but saw North Alabama come back in all three games to prevent the Jennies from winning the title...Recap
The Jennies, who came into the post-season ranked 17th in the latest AVCA-II Poll, finish the season with a 29-7 record.  Katie Tarka and Jillian Ohrman were both named to the All-Tournament team.

Both Ohrman and Tarka were also First-Team selections on the 2006 All-MIAA Squad.  Andrea Robertson was named to the second team, while Brooke Butler and Lauren Nuckolls received honorable mention.
Ohrman and Tarka are also selected First-Team members of the Daktronics D-II All-South Central Region Team
