Willie McCowan was named the Most Valuable Wrestler at the CMSU wrestling awards banquet.

Luke Shaw (left) and John Rolling (right) were the only two place winners for the Mules at the NCAA-II Wrestling Championships, March 8-9, in Kenosha, Wisconsin.  Rolling finished 7th at 184 pounds while Shaw placed 5th at 133 pounds.  As a team, the Mules placed 19th at the NCAA-II Championships...         Acrobat DocumentMore Info.

Former Mules wrestler Mark Burrell was
inducted into the NCAA-II Wrestling
Hall of Fame, March 6th, in Kenosha, Wis.,
the site of the Division II Championship meet.
Burrell was a two-time national champion at
126 pounds (1989 & 1990), and was the first
Mules wrestler to be inducted into the CMSU
Athletic Hall of Fame in 1999.
