CMSU sends five
to NCAA-II Championships.
Ryan Hunter (left in black) and Willie McCowan (right in black) were
individual champions at the NCAA-II Midwest Regional on Sunday in Edmond,
Oklahoma. Hunter took the 157 pound championship while McCowan won the
Heavyweight division. Other CMSU place finishers included: Kevin
Grece (2nd - 184), Brett Barbarick (3rd - 174), Mike Hansen (4th - 133), and
Kyle Waag (5th - 141). Hunter, McCowan, Grece, Barbarick, and Hansen
all qualified for the NCAA-II Championship Meet, March 12-13, in Mankato,
Minnesota.
