Jeremy Hudson and Mark Carey were two of the Mules honored with team awards for the 2006-2007 season...More Info
The two wrestlers were the Mules representatives at the NCAA-II Championships in Kearney, Neb., March 9-10th.  Hudson (184) went 1-2 at the national event, while Carey (149) was winless in two matches.
Hudson and Carey qualified for the national event at the NCAA-II Midwest Regional in Ashland, Ohio on February 24th.  The Mules finished fifth as a team in the event hosted by Ashland University...M

Adam Tieben takes down an opponent during action earlier this season.  The Mules only senior picked up a 4-2 victory in his 157 pound match on Wednesday evening, helping UCM to a 28-6 dual meet win over SIU-Edwardsville at Garrison Gym.  The Mules also got individual wins from Caleb Dixon (4-2) at 125, Keaton Baker (7-2) at 133, Grant Baker (10-5) at 141, Mark Carey (7-6) at 149, Jesse Sheets (5-2) at 174, Jeremy Hudson (13-4) at 184, and Drew Dawson at Heavyweight won by a forfeit.  The victory put the finishing touch on the Mules regular season with a 9-10 dual meet mark.

Jeremy Hudson (right) works to take an opponent down during one of his matches at the annual Roger Denker Open.  Hudson was the only individual champion for the Mules in the event as he claimed the 184 pound class title.  Hudson was one of eight Mules to place in the action held at Garrison Gym on the UCM campus.  Drew Dawson was second at Heavyweight, while Keaton Baker (133) and John Ott (197) placed third, and Bret Marshall was fifth at 165.  The Mules had three other wrestlers place who were competing unattached - Willie Forrest finished fourth at 149, Dan McGee finished fifth at 184, and Cory Bloodgood was sixth at 133...Mules Recap
