Up to the first 500 UCM students to attend the NCAA South Central Regional volleyball tournament will get in free. Central Missouri students must show their student I.D. to receive their free ticket, on a first-come, first-served basis.

UCM cross country will have one representative at the NCAA-II Championships this Saturday in Evansville, Indiana. Laban Sialo qualified by third at the NCAA-II South Central Regional in Abilene, Texas, on Saturday, Nov. 7th.

Jennies basketball made it back to back wins to open the 2009-2010 season Friday afternoon with a 76-59 victory over Texas A&M-Kingsville at the UCM Multipurpose Building.
The win on the opening day of the Jennies Classic-presented by Comfort Inn and 1450 KOKO/98.5 THE BAR also produced history, with head coach Dave Slifer becoming the winningest coach (297) in MIAA history.
The Jennies will return to action Saturday evening with a game against Minnesota-Duluth at 6:30 p.m.

The Mules, ranked fifth in the NABC Preseason Poll, picked up the 1500th victory in the program history Tuesday night to open the regular season with an 86-51 triumph over Westminster College.
Flip Piontek has been honored by the MIAA for leading Jennies volleyball to the league title in his first year at the helm of the program, as he was the unanimous selection for the Coach of the Year.
