Mules explode early for home win over UMSL

Jared Potts picks up the win with the early offensive explosion by the Mules
The 23rd ranked Central Missouri Mules rolled past Missouri-St. Louis today by a 14-5 margin at Crane Stadium, scoring 13 runs in the first three frames.
The Mules (12-4) tallied eight runs off UMSL starter Justin Rodgers, who had not allowed an earned run all season. Central Missouri had a pre-determined rotation and senior Jared Potts earned the win after throwing the first four innings and allowing only one run.
UCM pounded out 15 hits, scoring two in the first, three in the second, and a big eight spot in the third inning. The Mules did it with aggressive base running and hitting as five players had multiple hit outings and six had multiple RBI games. They also got everyone in on the act as 19 players saw game action.
