The Mules saw their season come to an end with a 5-3 setback to top-ranked Mount Olive in the first round of semi-final action. The Mules, who would have had to win Thursday to force a true semi-final game Friday, end their 2008 season with a 47-17 record and a fourth place finish in the championships.
The Mules were led by Will Feil, who had three of the eight hits in the game, while Mike Hallam hit a solo homerun for one of the three runs.
