Coach Myers Says: Will is a great athlete. He has the ability to hit at the top or middle of our lineup. He is a natural hitter with power to both gaps and a great approach. He is a very consistent defender that could play all three outfield positions.

As a Junior: An honorable mention All-MIAA pick, he started at left field most of the season and hit near the top of the order... Had his biggest game against SBU on April 12, going 3-of-5 with 5 RBI, two doubles, and a homer... also went 4-of-4 against PSU on Mar 29 with three RBI and 3-of-5 with four RBI against Fort Hays State (April 20)... He also had four hits and three RBI against MSSU (May 4) before hitting safely in every game at the Division II World Series, including three against national champ Mt. Olive.

As a Sophomore: Second team All-MIAA selection ... Started at outfield and designated hitter and ranked fifth on the team in batting average at .344... Had a couple 4-of-5 games against both Truman (Apr 3) and Emporia State (Apr 22)... also logged three RBI against SBU (Apr 5)...hit .357 in the MIAA and postseason.

As a Freshman: Saw action in 37 games and showed his offensive ability with a .343 average and 27 RBI... Had seven multiple-hit games including a 3-for-4 performance against Southwest Baptist (Mar 28) that he tallied 6 RBI... also had a 4-for-5 outing against Southwest Baptist (May 1) in which he scored three runs... Feil went 3-for-5 in the MIAA Tournament title game against Emporia State (May 14) as well... saw action in the outfield and as a designated hitter.

In High School: He lettered all four years in baseball and twice in basketball. As a senior, Feil earned first-team All-GAC South Conference, all-district, All-St. Louis Metro, and MHSBCA All-State. In 2002 he helped Francis Howell to a runner-up finish at the state tournament, and in 2001 he was selected Most Valuable Player of the St. Louis Area Baseball Association All-Star Game after going 2-for-2 with three runs scored. For the last three summers he played with the Rawlings Midwest Prospects. He earned AP second-team All- State honors in basketball, and was also chosen first-team all-conference, all-district, and honorable mention all-metro as a junior.

Personal: Physical Education major ... born August 30, 1986 ... son of Bill and Gail Feil.
