Coach Myers says: He is going to make the move to the back end of our bullpen... He had a great fall in the closer role... He has a powerful arm and commands three pitches... He is a very good defender and a guy we want on the mound in the late innings.
As a Redshirt Freshman: A mid-week starter and reliever... Got a win in his first collegiate start against Pittsburg State (Mar. 18)... Got his second win in relief against Missouri-St. Louis (Mar 24)... Made eight total appearances, six out of the bullpen.
In High School: A four-year letterwinner for head coach George Shrum, he earned all-district honors while helping the squad to three conference titles... He also led the team to a district championship and all the way to the state semifinals... Also played basketball.
Personal: Marketing major... born December 14, 1989... son of Mike and Debbie Baker.
