Before UCM: Played at Longview C.C. for head coach Clint Culbertson (former Mules assistant)... helped his squad to back-to-back national titles, earning most valuable pitcher both seasons... He was also second in the nation with 12 saves last year... a first-team all-region pick, he also earned NJCAA World Series MVP... Played his high school ball at Glendale in Springfield for head coach Mark Stratton... he earned all district twice and All-Ozarks once, leading the squad to a district title...He was named most valuable pitcher four times as well.
