According to coach Myers: Jon showed improvement in all areas this fall… he is our fastest player and most accurate thrower from the outfield… we look for him to get valuable experience in a crowded outfield this spring.
Redshirted at UCM last season...
In High School: A first-team all-state, all-conference, all-area, and all-metro catcher, he also earned all- district honors in the outfield... he lettered three years for head coach James Oyler and also earned honorable mention all-conference three times in football... Wegener also garnered all-star honors in American Legion play and played in the Mo-Kan All-Star Game.
Personal: Secondary Education- Social Studies major ... born May 6, 1988 ... son of Don Wegener and Barbara Wegener.
