As a Freshman: Transferred to UCM while the season was already in progress, saw action in the outfield and off the bench as a pinch hitter... Redshirted at Wichita State in 2006.
In High School: Played at Rockhurst High School, lettering three years in baseball and football... earned all-metro and all-state honors as a senior while leading the squad to district titles in 2003, 2004, and 2005... played for head coach Jim DeGraw.
Personal: Corporate Fitness major... born September 15, 1986... Son of Jaime and Anna Quirk... His father was a former Kansas City Royal and is the current Colorado Rockies bench coach.
