Coach Myers on Kris Webber: A competitive right handed pitcher with great command… he is an experienced pitcher that has a great feel for the game… throws three pitches for strikes and gets contact early, producing a lot of ground ball outs.
As a Junior: Webber was a second team All-MIAA selection ... He was a first team all-region selection ...Was the Mules number two starter all season and led the starting rotation in ERA at 2.35.... Didn’t lose his first game until April 15, going 7-0, but went 1-3 from that point on... had a seven frame, seven strikeout performance against Washburn (Mar 17).
Before UCM: Webber played two seasons for head coach Aaron Vorachek at Bossier Parish in Louisiana... he graduated from Walnut Grove Secondary School in Langley, British Columbia., where he lettered in both football and baseball.... he helped both the football and baseball squads to provincial championships in British Columbia.
Personal: Sociology major ... born October 13, 1984 ... son of Dan and Sharon Webber.
