| CMSU Season Football Tickets on Sale Warrensburg,
Mo. (Aug. 22, 2000) -- Season tickets for Central Missouri State University's
2000 home football schedule are now available. In their fourth year under head coach
Willie Fritz, the Mules play seven of their 11 games at Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field this
season.
Their home opener is Aug. 31 against Winona State University. The two teams met for the
first time last season, with the Mules winning 30-24 in Warrensburg.
The Mules' other non-conference game will be against Quincy University on Sept. 9. The
following Saturday, Sept. 16, the Mules will open the Mid-America Intercollegiate
Athletics Association portion of their season against Emporia State University.
After a crucial road game at Pittsburg State University on Sept. 23, the Mules will
take on Washburn University on Sept. 30 as part of CMSU's Family Weekend. Homecoming will
be Oct. 21 with the Mules entertaining Missouri Western State College, while Southwest
Baptist University will provide the opposition on Oct. 28. The final regular-season game
on Nov. 11 will match the Mules against two-time defending NCAA Division II national
champion Northwest Missouri State University.
Season tickets for the general public are $42 for seats in sections A, B, and C. Seats
in those sections have seatbacks. For seats in section D (without seatbacks), season
tickets are $35. Also available again is the Family Plan, which allows season-ticket
holders to purchase season reserved seats for their children for $14 per child.
Season ticket holders from a year ago have until Aug. 29 to claim their same seats for
this campaign. The Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
and is located in Room 101 of the CMSU Multipurpose Building. Additional information can
