Warrensburg, Mo. (Nov. 9, 2000) -- Three Central Missouri State University football players have been selected to the Verizon College Division Academic All-District Football Team.

Senior defensive back Clint Steiner (Stilwell, Kan./St. Thomas Aquinas H.S.) was chosen for the first-team, while sophomore center Matt Gigliotti (Gladstone, Mo./North Kansas City H.S.) and junior defensive tackle Tim Urich (Centertown, Mo./California H.S.) were third-team selections.

By receiving first-team all-district recognition, Steiner will be on the national ballot for the Verizon College Division Academic All-America Team that will be announced Dec. 5.
