Roderick Green (left) was named the defensive MVP for the West team in the Las Vegas All American Classic on Saturday, January 17th.  Green helped the West to a 14-7 victory with four tackles, including a pair for losses and a quarterback sack.  Green was selected to the AFCA-II Coaches All-American Team for 2003...More Info and to the Associated Press Little All-American Team.  Green was joined by Kegan Coleman (right) on the Daktronics Division-II All-American Team...More Info.

The Mules ended their 2003 season with a five-way share of the MIAA championship.  CMSU finished the season 7-2 in the MIAA and 9-2 overall.  Mules are ranked 17th in the final AFCA Coaches Division II Poll for 2003...More Info.

Rod Green became the highest draft choice in the history of the Mules football program after he was the fifth round selection of the Baltimore Ravens during the annual National Football League Draft on Sunday, April 25th.  Green was the 153rd player taken overall in the draft.

Mules football coach Willie Fritz receives congratulations from Don Wilhelm, director of athletics at Blinn (Texas) Junior College, as Fritz was recognized for his induction into the National Junior College Athletic Association Hall of Fame.  Fritz led Blinn to national championships in 1995 & 1996, prior to taking the job at CMSU.  Fritz was presented a plaque and commemorative football honoring his achievement during halftime of the Mules game against Missouri-Rolla on Saturday, Oct. 18th.
