Former Mule Todd Devoe has breakout day for Denver Broncos


     Former Central Missouri State University standout Todd Devoe (2001-02) had a break-out day for the Denver Broncos last Sunday against the defending NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles.

Devoe caught the first touchdown of his NFL career to seal Denver’s 49-21 win over Philadelphia. For the day he had five receptions for 59 yards, including the clenching 44-yard TD receptions.

Devoe, who got a lot of play in the Kansas City Star and on ESPN, has been a special teams performer for most of this season, and has two special teams tackles and a fumble recovery.

For the Mules, the Devoe holds school records with 23 career touchdown receptions and a career 20.5 yards per catch average. He is also second in school history in receiving yards (2,134) and seventh in receptions (104).
