Ricketts named second-team AP All-American
Mules junior free safety Kendall Ricketts continues to pile up the awards as he was named a second-team Associated Press Little All-American.
A first-team all-region pick as well, Ricketts led the Mules in tackles (95) and interceptions (3) this year, setting several career records in the process. With his interception return for a touchdown against Fort Hays State, he became the MIAA record holder with the fourth for his career. His 266 career tackles are also ranked 7th in UCM history.
His 2006 performance was his second with a first-team All-MIAA, all-region, and all-american selection.
