Mules to Conduct Youth Football Clinic

Warrensburg, Mo. (Aug. 16, 1999) - Area youngsters are invited to attend a free youth football clinic conducted by Central Missouri State's football team on Friday, August 20. The clinic is for youngsters who are age six up through those who are in grade seven. Coaches of youth football teams also are invited to attend.

The clinic will begin at 10 a.m. at the Mules' practice field located west of the Multipurpose Building. Parking is available in the lot next to the Jennies' softball field. The Mules' coaching staff and players will provide instruction in fundamentals at the various offensive and defensive positions. Drinks at the clinic will be provided by Piggly Wiggly.

In addition to the free football clinic, youngsters also will be able to join "MO's Maniacs", a newly established youth booster club for CMSU athletics and sponsored by Piggly Wiggly. Membership in "MO's Maniacs" is $10 and entitles members to free admission to all regular-season home CMSU athletic events, a "MO's Maniacs" membership card and T-shirt, and seating in a special "MO's Maniacs" section at home athletic events.
