A hard-nosed competitor....he was hampered with an ankle injury during spring practice... should compete for starting time again this season.
As a sophomore: Played in all 11 games, making 19 catches for 238 yards... averaged 12.5 yards per catch... best game came in the season finale against Fort Hays State, grabbing six catches for 94 yards and a long of 34 yards... earned MIAA Academic Honor Roll as well.
As a freshman: Started seven games, grabbing 19 passes for 222 yards... scored his first and only touchdown against Minnesota State.
In high school: Head Coach: Jeff Meyers – Helped Olathe East High School to a runner-up finish in the state... He earned first-team all-state, All-Sun Country, All-Sunflower League, All-Johnson County, and Kansas City Star All-Metro accolades as a senior... He was also invited to play in the MoKan All-Star Game… receives academic aid at UCM for his performance in the classroom.
Personal: Marketing major with a 3.24 GPA... born December 9, 1987… son of Gerald and Mary Parks... his brother Anthony played wide receiver for the Mules in 2007.
