Enters fall camp as the No. 2 quarterback… has a strong arm and a great understanding of the offense.
As a freshman: Played in five games in a reserve role, going 12-of-18 for 118 yards... threw his first career touchdown against Missouri Southern in a 47-14 win... also earned MIAA Academic Honor Roll for his work in the classroom.
In 2007: Saw action in two games, going 6-of-8 for 93 yards and an interception... saw most of his action against Southwest Baptist (Oct 27) in the first half before getting injured... also played against Concordia- St. Paul in a reserve role... received a medical redshirt.
In high school: Head Coach: Pat Mahoney – Corwin was the team captain and quarterback for 6A Missouri State Champion, DeSmet High School... He threw for 2,900 yards and earned offensive player of the year honors from both the Missouri Football Coaches Association and St. Louis Associated Press... He also grabbed second-team all-Metro Catholic Conference and first-team St. Louis Post Dispatch All-Metro accolades… Broke the state record for passing yards in a title game with 482.
