Coach Fritz on Adrian Singletary: “Adrian has outstanding strength
and speed, he has learned our scheme inside and out as well. We need
him to continue to be an All-MIAA linebacker.”
As a sophomore: A second-team All-MIAA selection, he ranked third
on the team with 63 tackles and led the squad with eight for loss... he
picked up two sacks and recovered two fumbles as well... Was named
the defensive MVP on three occasions (against Lincoln, Fort Hays,
Missouri Southern) and the swarm award for best hustle four times... had
a career-high 13 tackles at Missouri Southern... also named to the MIAA
Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll for his work in the classroom.
As a freshman: Played in all 10 games with five starts... The Mules’
third-leading tackler among linebackers with 32 ... he had a career-high
seven tackles vs. Truman ... at Missouri Western he had five stops and a
pass breakup ... vs. Lincoln he had two tackles (one for a loss) and
recovered a fumble in the end zone.
In high school: For head coach Roger Bell at Winnetonka High School,
he earned first-team all-state, all-district, and All-Suburban Big Eight
Conference honors ... his head coach played at Central Missouri in 1981
and 1982.
Personal: Social Studies Education major ... born July 17, 1986 ... son
of Warren and Delice Hill.
