Coach Fritz on Damond Berry: “Damond had an excellent spring as a wide receiver and return man. He has great size and speed and will also run track for the Mules.”
At Kansas: Played football for the Jayhawks before transferring to Central Missouri in the spring semester.
At Mississippi State: Ran track for the Bulldogs out of high school while also walking on the football squad.
In high school: played football and ran track at Grandview High School... he was named the team’s offensive MVP in 2002... he helped the track team to the 2002 state title as well.
