Coach Fritz on Randy Shepherd: “Randy had an outstanding
freshman season, he is a complete corner and plays good zone and man.
We need him to become a top corner in the league. Good job with punts
returns late in the season as well.”

As a freshman: An honorable mention All-MIAA pick, he started every
game and led the squad with five pass breakups and four recovered
fumbles... He also tallied two interceptions and was named the team’s
defensive MVP in four different games as well as the special forces
MVP once... recorded 53 tackles on the year.

In high school: Head Coach: John McCall - An honorable mention
Wichita Eagle Kansas Class 5A all-state pick, he was also a first-team
All-Sun Football Team, All-Sunflower League, and All-Olathe
selection, and a Kansas City Star all-metro honoree ... he played for the
Kansas All-Stars in the Metro All-Star Game.

Personal: Undecided on a major ... born May 13, 1987 ... son of Randy
and Regina Shepherd.
