Coach Fritz on Spencer Foster: “Excellent deep snapper that was very
involed in the kicking game. Good athlete that can also go down the
field and make plays.”

As a sophomore: played in 10 games and recorded three stops on
special teams while doing all the long snapping for UCM.
As a freshman: saw action in all 10 games as a freshman in 2005...
made a tackle while taking care of all long snapping duties for the
Mules.

In high school: A first-team all-state pick at running back as a senior
for head coach Chris Powers, he rushed for a school record 1,738 yards
and 26 touchdowns ... Foster was named first-team all-state as a return
specialist as a junior ... rushed for 1,464 yards (a then school record he
broke his senior year) and 25 TDs ... served two seasons as a team
captain and was a two-time first-team All-Delaware Valley Conference
pick.

Personal: Secondary Education major ... born August 22, 1985 ... son
of Tammy Schmidt and Skip Foster ... his father was head coach at
Coffeyville Community College when Mules head coach Willie Fritz
was defensive coordinator ... his grandfather is the legendary Dick
Foster, former head coach at Coffeyville, while his cousin is Mike
Foster, former UCM Defensive Coordinator.
