Coach Fritz on Spencer Webb: “Spencer has played a lot for the Mules. He will contend to be the kicker in the fall.”
As a sophomore: Played in eight games and hit 9-of-15 field goals.
As a freshman: Started every game, breaking the UCM record for extra points in a game (11) against Lincoln and Pittsburg State. hit 3-of-7 field goals and 47-of-51 extra points on the season.
In high school: Head Coach: John McCall - Lettered three years at
Olathe North High School ... as a senior he was first-team All-Sunflower
League and honorable mention all-state ... helped lead Olathe North to
three consecutive conference titles and to the 2002 Kansas State
Championship ... added a pair of letters in golf.
Personal: Undecided on a major with a 3.38 grade-point average... born March 8, 1987 ... son of Rick and Joyce Webb.
