Coach Fritz on Steven Ehase: “Steven was a strong contributor in the
kicking game last season and also started three games. He has lost
weight and should improve his quickness for 2007.”
As a sophomore:Played all 11 games in the secondary and on special
teams... had 19 tackles, including a sack and 3.5 for loss.
As a freshman: Tallied eight special teams tackles and 13 total on the
year... saw action in nine of 10 games.
In high school: For head coach Brian Moler, Ehase was a team captain
as a senior ... he was second-team all-state as a linebacker, second-team
all-area as a utility player, and first-team all-district as a running back
and linebacker ... also was named second-team all-district as a punter,
and on the all-conference team was first-team as a running back and
second-team at both linebacker and punter.
Personal: Business Management major with a 3.04 grade-point average
